Greetings!
We would like to pre-invite you to perform at the Fourth Annual Boise
Creative and Improvised Music Festival (formally the Boise Experimental
Music Festival).
This year the festival will occur on April 25-26 (Friday - Saturday) in
Boise, Idaho, at the El Korah Shriner Center, the same fantastic venue we
used last year.
A few comments about the upcoming festival:
1) For everyone traveling from out-of-state, we will make a point to give
you two performance slots, so as to make your trip more worthwhile.
2) We will be working closely with the local visual arts community this
year, including hosting seven “mini” visual art galleries in the venue.
If requested, musical performers will be paired with visual artists to
perform/create live visual art with the music.
3) As with prior years, we will have film as backdrop to intermissions
and, if you would like, during your performances.
4) The festival will feature the premier of a new theatrical piece,
which will utilize some of the festival performers.
5) We have done away with tickets this year, and the event will be free to
the audience. We are working to raise money to pay something to
participants. 6) If you know artists that might be interested, please let them know
about us. We are interested in growing this festival by word of mouth,
adding people who are not only good musicians, but will be enjoyable
members of the festival community.
Please RSVP no later than January 1, 2009.

perform this year due to grad school responsibilities, he is assisting
me with programming and the web.
